Neuro physiotherapist

Christine Russell

Christine graduated from the University of Ulster Jordanstown in 2014 with a First Class Honours degree in Physiotherapy. Since her university career, she has had a keen interest in Neurological Physiotherapy, completing a Multiple Sclerosis Research Study Dissertation.

Since graduating Christine has worked throughout local NHS trusts, initially as a Rotational Physiotherapist gaining valuable experience throughout a range of specialties including musculoskeletal outpatients, orthopedics, medical wards, intensive care, and community domiciliary physiotherapy. She gained a Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist post within a hospital setting in 2017 and then progressed on to a Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist post in a community setting which has further developed her love for Neurological Physiotherapy.

Christine began her transition into Private Practice in 2018 working with neurological and musculoskeletal patient groups. Christine also has a keen interest in elderly rehabilitation, working with these clients to improve their mobility and maximize their quality of life.

Christine has completed further training in the PD warrior method for Parkinson's, the Bobath concept, Tai Chi and Pilates. She is constantly looking for ways to develop and improve her skills to enable her to help her patients achieve their goals.

Outside of work, Christine enjoys paddle boarding, yoga, pilates, taking her dogs to the beach, and traveling.
