Physiotherapist
Rebecca McNamara graduated from Oxford Brookes University with BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy and gained initial clinical experience through the NHS in Oxford before returning to Northern Ireland. For the next 4 years, she worked in musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and sports rehabilitation in a Private clinic in Belfast.
Rebecca joined the team at Pure Physio in 2015 and immediately loved it’s advantageous location and having access to the facilities at La Mon Country Club for the rehabilitation needs of her patients.
Rebecca has undertaken extensive post-graduate training specialising in the management of spinal dysfunction (including nerve pain and headaches), Musculoskeletal and Sports injuries, Hydrotherapy, Pilates and Women’s Health (antenatal and postnatal management). She provides a hands-on manual approach to treatment that guarantees great results for her patients.
Rebecca has undergone further development in a wide variety of musculoskeletal courses including Pilates, Hydrotherapy, Dry Needling, McKenzie A&B, Mulligans 1, Headaches (Toby Hall), Biomechanics, Kinesiotaping and Pregnancy. She has also started a Masters in ‘Advanced Physiotherapy’ part-time through the University of Ulster.
